We begin with the assumption that you do not want to pay us to tell you what you already know or to provide you with documents you already own..

So, the first task is for you to tell us everything you know about your ancestors. We provide (free of charge) forms for recording all essential data such as names, dates, ages and locations.

We also ask you to tell us what you would like to discover and what documents you would like us to provide.

We will also agree a maximum spend, bearing in mind that for each individual ancestor there could be a Birth, Marriage and Death certificate, several census records and possibly other records of interest as well, such as Parish or Military.

We would expect to communicate frequently with you during the research process to ensure that you remain in charge and in control of the direction the research takes.
